Relocating and Orphan

While out on a weekend of conservation work, we were notified of the death of a female white rhino. Unfortunately she left behind a calf, and these calves do not survive in the wild if they are below a certain age.

Our conservation group was tasked, along with park officials and veterinarians etc to find the calf and have her transported to the rhino orphanage which cares for orphaned rhinos.

The operation was a success and we are glad to announce that the calf is doing well in her new home.
